Mandarin - The Incredible Years

面向墨瑟岛上2至6岁儿童的家长和照看者。这个为期8周的网上小组将会以普通话讲授。

For Mercer Island parents and caregivers of children 2-6. This 8-week online program will be presented in Mandarin.


此家长小组将讨论育儿技巧,以促进您孩子的解决问题能力、社交技能、和情绪自我调节能力,旨在更好地为入学做准备。

This parent group will discuss parenting skills to promote your child's problem-solving, social skills, and emotional self-regulation with the goal of better preparing them for preschool.

This program requires active participation in the Zoom sessions. Participants are expected to participate in all eight sessions, in class discussion and at home practice. This is not a lecture series.

This eight week series will be held online once a week and led by local psychologist Dr. Chang Liu. Dr. Liu has extensive training in behavior management training interventions. Daisy Ma, 5th year Psychology Doctoral candidate at the University of Washington will serve as co-facilitator.

This program is offered at no cost to Mercer Island residents thanks to grant funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This program is valued at approximately $300 per participant.

Mercer Island residents receive first priority, however; parents from the local area will be considered for the program if spots are available. Registration is limited, and will be first-come, first-served. Wait-listed registrations will be given priority for registration in future series.
